Meal Plans

What is the difference between a 5 and 7-Day All Access meal plan?

The 7-Day All Access plan allows access to the dining locations Monday - Sunday. This plan is ideal for students who spend weekends on campus. The 5-Day All Access plan allows access to the dining locations Monday - Friday. This plan is ideal for students who commute or do not spend much time on campus during the weekend.

Are there any dining dollars that come with the All Access plans?

Yes, both the Gold and Platinum All Access plans come with Dining Dollars. Dining Dollars can be used at any campus retail location, including Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Einstein Bros., Zen Asian, Papa John’s, including on-campus delivery, and any vending machines across campus, plus our Provisions on Demand (P.O.D.) convenience stores. The amount of Dining Dollars included in your plan varies, depending on the plan you choose. If you run out of Dining Dollars you can add more in increments of $25.00. Dining Dollars will roll-over as long as you are a student at Northwest Missouri State University. Watch for Dining Dollar promotions throughout the year.

Can upperclassmen purchase an All Access meal plan?

Yes, All Access meal plans are available for purchase for all students. Block Plans are also available to commuter students, faculty and staff for purchase.

Will inclining plans still be available?

Yes, inclining balance plans will still be available to all students living off campus and all faculty and staff. Upperclassmen living on campus are required to have an all access residential plan with the exception of Forest Village Apartments residents who can purchase an all access residential plan, commuter block plan or use an inclining balance plan.

Do the Dining Dollars roll over to the next trimester?

Yes, Dining Dollars on the All Access Plans roll-over each trimester as long as you are enrolled as a student at Northwest Missouri State University.

If I run out of Dining Dollars, can I reload?

Yes, you can add more Dining Dollars in increments of $25.00 at any time online at www.nwcampusdining.com or on our Facebook page at www.fb.com/nwcampusdining.

Can I use my meal swipe at any of the other dining locations?

Yes, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Zen, Chick-fil-A, and Papa John's will all accect meal exchange. One meal exchange is available to all students on an All Access meal plan each week.

With obesity on the rise, how can all you care to eat be good for my student?

Let’s face it. Food is everywhere. It’s super-sized, big gulped and cheap. Except the foods that are healthy. All access dining allows your child the opportunity to eat healthy, without depleting their purchasing power. They will be offered a variety of fruits and vegetables to take with their entree and starch without having to pay extra. Northwest students will also benefit from the all access plan in that they can eat based on their needs. Students who are grazers can come in and get small portions more times a day without incurring cost or wasting food with proportioned al a cart items. Students who prefer to eat larger meals three times a day can also benefit from the new plan. The all you care to eat model focuses on appropriate portioning of entrees as opposed to the large portions with the a la carte retail model previously in place. Finally, students who participate in an all you care to eat meal plan tend to choose a wider variety of foods and are more apt to try new dishes. Campus Dining also has an onsite Registered Dietitian who is available to meet with students about healthy options available on campus, special dietary needs, or overall healthy eating advice.

What are the guest passes that come with the Gold and Platinum meal plans?

The Gold Meal Plan comes with 5 guest passes and the Platinum Meal Plan comes with 8 guest passes. A guest pass can be used by a friend or family member and it gives them a one time access to the Residential Restaurant on the first floor of the Student Union.

Why do I have to create an account in order to check out?

For you, and us, to be able to best track orders, and to be able to contact you in case of a question regarding your order we ask that you create a CampusDish account.

How do I get a Promotional Code?

How do I use the Menu?

We have utilities designed to help your health. Use the Meal Calculator Box to quickly relate the nutritional information of two or more items. The Meal Calculator can populate the nutritional value of your meal. Use our quick nutritional icons to identify food with special preparation or contents at a glance.

What are AFO/FPO/DPO addresses?

APO and FPO addresses allow the postal service to efficiently deliver mail to active duty military members serving overseas. When the mail arrives at the APO or FPO, the staff will send the mail onto the proper division of the military to which the addressee belongs. The division then delivers the mail to the individual. 

How do I increase password security?

Your password should be at least 8 characters that include upper and lower case characters, numbers, and symbols. You should always use a unique password for each website you use; that way, if one account gets compromised, the rest are safe. Other ways to ensure the security of your password include:

    • If passwords must be written down on a piece of paper, store the paper in  a secure place and destroy it when it is no longer needed.

    • Never share passwords with anyone.

    • Change passwords immediately if they may have been compromised.

    • Be careful about where passwords are saved on computers. Some dialog boxes present an option to save or remember a password. Selecting this option poses a potential security threat.

How do I use variants?

Have your food your way! Choose from our variant options to customize your meal exactly how you want it. Please note any charges that might be associated with adding additional variants to your meal.

What is a CVV?

The Card Validation Code is a 3 digit number set that uniquely identifies your credit card.

Visa/Mastercard and Discover Users

Flip your card over and look at the signature box. You should see either the entire 16-digit credit card number or just the last four digits followed by a special 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is your Card Security Code.

American Express Credit Card Users
Look for the 4-digit code printed on the front of your card just above and to the right of your main credit card number. This 4-digit code is your Card Identification Number (CID). The CID is the four-digit code printed just above the Account Number.
